For the 2010-2011 school year all of our programs and school events will be
offered to school groups and the public free of charge. We are able to provide these programs because SMMA is financially self-sufficient. All Park operations, maintenance and capital improvements are funded through lease and miscellaneous revenues. Private and public school buses are admitted to Stone Mountain Park for free!

The programs complement the Georgia science and social studies GPS and the North American Association for Environmental Education Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education.
