There are many reptiles to see in the park: Along the lakes look for sunning turtles on fallen logs, in the woods you're likely to see skinks, anoles, toads, songbirds and maybe even snakes basking in the late morning sun! Look for water-loving birds like Blue Herons, Kingfishers and Green Herons along the lakeside trails. There is lots of activity in the Songbird Habitat: nesting Bluebirds, foraging Indigo Buntings, Goldfinches and Sparrows are a few of the many things you may see along the trail! Start looking for this year's first Clam Shrimp in the water filled pools at the top of the mountain.
