SMMA Board
The
nine member governing board is appointed by the governor for four year
terms. The Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources serves as
long as he/she holds the position of Commissioner. The board sets
policies for the Park, approves the budget and
reviews and approves any proposed new development to ensure that it is
consistent with the Park’s goals.
The Regular Meeting of SMMA is usually the third Tuesday of the month at
1:00 pm
at Evergreen Conference Center, with committee meetings at 11:00
pm. Please call 770-498-5611 to confirm time and place of meeting.
